Every year over 12 million automobiles reach the end of their life cycle and are no longer road appropriate. Every junk car, is stock full of mercury, plastics, oil, grease, anti-freeze, heavy metals, fluorocarbons and fuels which are harmful to our air, soil and groundwater but are perfect for environmentally friendly automobile recycling. Many of these chemicals that are recyclable are carcinogenic and dangerous to the environment if not properly taken care of. These vehicles must be disposed of properly to ensure they do not contaminate the environment.
