You can sell a junk vehicle that's missing parts. The only thing you need to remember to do is to tell us which parts your car is missing before we offer you our quote. The wheels are not so important if we're going to recycle your car anyway, so if you don't have them it won't greatly affect the price that we're able to offer.

There are a few things to watch out for if you're trying to figure out whether someone's a legitimate buyer or a scammer. The first thing to look for is an internet presence. If someone contacts you claiming to be a junk car buying company, but doesn't have a website, that should be your first cause of concern.

After the tow truck picks up your car and you receive your check you will get an email from us containing a receipt for the sale of your vehicle. If you are missing the title of your vehicle then you need to get in touch with the local DMV to get a replacement copy. If your vehicle was totaled and the insurance paid for a claim then you may also need to get a replacement copy of the original title and have it converted to a salvage title. This should be done if possible before you call us to sell your junk car. But at any rate there should be no reason for you to visit the DMV except for the reasons we mentioned. Once the tow truck driver arrives to tow the vehicle then you will receive your guaranteed payment and hand over the signed copy of the title in order to transfer legal ownership to us for the purchase of your junk car.
