We do everything possible to try to simplify the donation process if you want to do that instead of outright selling it for cash. You can donate a car in its current condition if it happens to be running. But if the vehicle is inoperable and likely not going to be back on the road without some major repairs then you might want to just sell it to a junk car broker like us who can process the car and still give you cash that you can hand over to your favorite charity.

It is definitely a good idea to sell your junk car if you are tired of dealing with it or seeing it sitting around not serving any purpose. Perhaps you do not need the cash but you still want to get rid of the car then you need to consider donating the car or at least the cash that you can get directly or which can be converted into cash to be given to your favorite charity. You may qualify for a big tax write off but you have to check with your accountant to see if that is something that you are eligible to take it on your taxes. Check on that before you decide if you want to donate or sell outright.

At Rusty's Auto Salvage, we can usually get cars picked up within 48 hours. They payment will be handed to you by the tow truck operator when you car is picked up and then you have signed over title. Normally, you will have a check to deposit in your own account within a period of less than two days from the time you've called us requesting for the pickup.
